Covid-19
20.03.2020
As already communicated in the past few days, transports, including cross-border transports in the European network, can still be operated without restrictions to a large extent. In the Oberhausen-Osterfeld area, restrictions are currently still being imposed. Diversions have been worked out and an emergency staff has been set up to maintain operations. From 6 a.m. on March 21st, 2020, the interlocking is expected to be manned continuously again. Backlogged trains will then be processed as quickly as possible. DB Cargo is still able to take on further transports at short notice, also on the international network, in order to guarantee supplies in freight traffic. The next regular update will follow at this point on Monday, March 23rd, 2020.
